Knit as a handbag or shoulder bag with worsted weight wool; Knit as an evening bag with sport weight wool.
If you need a bigger bag, add 20 extra rounds- now you have a tall bag.
Small bag: 380 yards sport weight, 100% wool. 24" circular & double pointed needles: US8
Large bag: 660 yards worsted weight, 100% wool. Add 220 yards for taller bag. 24" circular & double pointed needles US10.5.
Finished sizes: Depending on wool choice, gauge and amount of felting:
Small bag: 8.5" tall; 17.5" circumfrence. Large bag: 11.5" tall; 24" circumfrence.
