Simple knitting yields stylish results. What could be easier? Jilly is a bag knit with ribbing and seed stitch. The pattern includes directions for a felted handle. Okay—There is some finishing involved but the results are worth it.

Large bag: worsted weight yarn 600 yards with or without felted handles
Medium Bag: worsted weight yarn 400 yards with or without felted handles
Small bag: worsted weight yarn: 200 yards for bag with purchased handle; 400 yards for one with felted handle.

This bag is knitted; only the handles are felted if desired.
