Cherry Blossom Bags in Small & Large Sizes
Materials Needed: Small Bag: 3 skeins color 1, 1 sk each of 4 additional colors. Large Bag: 4 skeins of color 1, 1 skein each of 4 other colors. Small amount of "fizz" or eyelash for flower centers.
Yarn shown is Cascade 220, 100% wool. Bag is knit and then felted in the washing machine.
Felted Dimensions:
Small bag: 10" wide at top & bottom across front/back; 13" at widest point across front/back; 5" wide at widest point at ends; 5.5" tall. Large bag: 13.5" wide at top and bottom across front/back; 17.5" at widest point across front/back; 5" at widest point at ends; 7" tall
Needles used are: US 11/24" circular; US5 straight needles; US7 double pointed needles; USF or G crochet hook
Additional materials: 10-12" wide tooth custom zipper; 2 6" wide (for small bag) or 8" wide (for large bag) bamboo handles; 6 25mm bag feet.
