CH44X Ribbons Baby Blanket
These simple Quaker rib blankets were inspired by Early American crib coverlets. They are knit in the round from the center out, with a raised petal center motif. Edge is finished with a crocheted slip stitch.
Directions are given for 3 yarn weights.
Fingering weight: 850 yards total, or 1 ball each of 6 colors for striped version. Try Baby UL from Dale of Norway.
DK Weight: 950 yards;
Worsted Weight: 800 yards; Try Zarella from Filatura Di Crosa Baby
You will need 16" and 24" circular needles:
Fingering: US6 and G crochet hook;
DK: US8 and H crochet hook;
Worsted weight: US 9 and J crochet hook
Approx finished size is 34-36" Square
