If you wish to pay by check please go through the checkout and choose check as your payment method. You can then print your email confirmation and mail in the payment. No orders will be processed until payments are cleared.
Sorry, We can not accept checks as payment for International orders, including Canada.

Pricing and Sales Tax:
Our prices are in US currency.
Massachusetts residents pay 6.25% sales tax on Non-Yarn items such as books, needles, patterns and accessories.  
Orders shipped out of state are not subject to any sales tax.

Payment Options:
We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa or Discover:   
Your credit card will not be charged until your order has been shipped.
If your order contains a back order, you will not be charged for that item until it is shipped.

Shipping: Within the Continental US:
We ship our orders via US Postal service: Priority Mail. Delivery is usually within 2-3 days
Orders that are very large or heavy may be shipped by UPS ground. Delivery is usually within 7-10 days.

We try to fill all orders containing in stock items within 48-72 hours.
Orders placed on Friday, after 12 noon EST, will be filled on Monday.

We are now connected to the USPS website so that shipping amounts are calcuated based on weight
by the USPS. All orders include insurance.
If you are ordering a single pattern or leaflet, we will continue to automatically send the order by regular first class mail and reduce the shipping charge to $2.00  when we process the order. Please note that this reduced shipping is for pattern leaflets only and not for pattern booklets or magazines.

Orders over $100.00 receive free shipping within the Continental US. If your order is $100.00 or more, but contains a back ordered item, we will hold the order and ship it complete as quickly as possible.
Orders over $100.00 to Hawaii and Alaska, will be charged actual freight. 

International Orders including Canada:
Please provide additional address information in "comments box" of our shopping cart checkout.
Your order will be confirmed via email with actual over seas or air mail shipping charges. All international orders will be charged insurance.
A credit card must be used for International Orders.

Returns:
Returns may be made within 14 days of purchase. Books, patterns, magazines, special orders and Shelby's Bin clearance and sale items are Not returnable. All items must be returned, unused in their original packaging. We suggest you return by any shipping service that allows tracking for your protection. We can not issue credit for returns that arrive damaged or that do not arrive at all.
Credit will be issued to the original credit card used for purchase.
Please note:  We reserve the right to refuse any returns that arrive after 14 days of purchase.

We work very hard to make sure your order is packed correctly and shipped promptly. Returns not resulting from our error will be charged a 15% restocking fee.  Shipping charges are not refundable.
Returns from orders that received free shipping: We will recover the cost of the shipping before issuing credit on these returns.
